Felipe is a language student at a university in Colombia. He has shown great interest in the English language and American culture; He is a good student and thanks to his merits he has won a scholarship in the United States, where he will arrive as a resident for 3 years. He has stayed in a native family there.
Felipe arrives at that place and has difficulty speaking English. Felipe: good morning. Magy: good morning, are you Felipe who comes from COLOMBIA? PHILIP: yes it's me. Nice to meet you Magy: equally. Come on, I'll introduce you to the whole family. Magy: he's my dad's name is Erik, she's my mom's name is Dama, she's my sister and her name is Elizabeth and I'm called Magy. Felipe: It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Felipe and I come from Colombia. Magic: he goes by and shows Felipe the house and shows him his room. The next day Felipe wakes up, looks for his toothbrush and realizes that he does not take it with him. Find Magy to ask her for help telling her where to buy a toothbrush. Felipe did not know how to ask Magy and she did not understand him until he drew it on a sheet. Magy explains how to ask and explain how to go to the store. Felipe arrives at the store and asks the question. Felipe: I'm home! Magy, where are you? Magy: welcome, how was your shopping? Felipe: I think it went very well, I bought you some things, take this. Magy: oh thank you very much, chocolates, flowers and even a cushion, I think we're going to get along very well. Felipe: I hope to learn your language as best as possible. Elizabeth: guys, the food is ready, we're going to have dinner together. Felipe: thank you very much! Magy: well, I'm very hungry. Elizabeth: I have not learned to cook yet, I hope you like it. Felipe: do not worry, this meal looks delicious.
